FAQ
What is an EcoArt workshop?
It is a 3-hour group experience that includes a beach or urban cleanup, an engaging discussion on innovative solutions to plastic waste, and the creation of individual micro-plastic mosaic art pieces.
Where are the workshops located?
EcoArt is a mobile organization. We bring our services directly to your location or a nearby partnered venue. While we primarily operate in Playa Grande, Guanacaste, Costa Rica, we’re happy to accommodate requests outside this area for an additional fee.
What group size can you accommodate?
We accommodate groups ranging in size from a minimum of 6 participants to a maximum of 24.
Special requests are considered.
How much does an EcoArt workshop cost?
We request a $30 participation fee per person. This covers all materials needed to create a beautiful mosaic keepsake, along with fresh coconuts—a refreshing, plastic-free beverage.
Is EcoArt funded by the plastic industry?
Absolutely not. EcoArt is a cheerleader for the innovators combating the mess the plastic industry has failed to clean up. As much as we all want to see the halt of plastic production, it is most likely not going away for a long time. Building a plastic circular economy means returning plastic waste into the supply chain eliminating the need for virgin plastics. Highlighting the innovations and promoting new recycling programs that accept all plastic types is the mission of EcoArt.
